Customisations of the Ford F-series models, especially the heavier, higher-performance variants, are popular in the United States

In the market for SUVs and off-roaders, comfort is essential, but some customers want a little more personality. Even when it comes to the Bentley Bentayga or a Rolls Royce Cullinan, there are buyers looking for an off-roader with power and an intimidating look, one that projects the commanding image of robust, classy vehicles. USSV is an American tuner that always aims for that standout image, and in this case it has worked on a Ford F-450 Super Duty to create this off-roader which, as they put it, could be used to face a zombie apocalypse and come out unscathed.

To make a successful escape from the pursuit of the undead, the Rhino GX uses a 6.7-litre PowerStroke V8 turbo diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed automatic gearbox that transmits all the power produced by the engine to all four wheels. The hydraulic suspension, brakes designed for hard work and power control of the model, 20-inch custom wheels, and reinforcements to the structure and bodywork ensure that the look matches the power delivered by the engine.

And since escaping that zombie apocalypse should not be uncomfortable, the interior features leather-upholstered seats with the USSV emblem in several places. The rear seats have 8 electronically adjustable positions, dual-zone climate control and other decorative elements that give it an exclusivity not found in the model it is based on. Parking assist and reversing cameras, an Alpine audio system, a rear DVD and many more comforts are also included.

Obviously, for now there will be no zombie attack in search of brains, but the Rhino GXRhino Gx Suv Extremo (1) can tackle any terrain, just like the Ford F-450 Super Duty on which it is based, but with far more style. That said, this variant that has passed through the tuner’s hands sells in the United States for 262,950 euros, a price well above that of the basic model. Any buyer can take their Ford F-450 Super Duty and have it converted into a modified version, turning it into a Rhino GX. Would you fancy driving such an impressive vehicle?
