Video of the Lotus Exos Type 125

Lotus announced a couple of days ago that it would present the car at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance (an event taking place this week), a world premiere, but we decided to wait before sharing the news because we wanted to offer you images of the car. However, an enthusiast of the British brand has surprised us with a video and high-resolution images.
It is clear that the new Lotus Exos Type 125 is inspired by the highest category of motorsport, so it was to be expected that its heart would be characterised by its power. It also features a monocoque chassis made of carbon fibre.
The Cosworth V-8 heart develops a maximum output of 650 horsepower at 10,300 rpm, a performance figure that, together with its weight (650 kg), would allow a driver to feel like Fernando Alonso.
Other technologies included are ceramic brakes, a suspension system made of carbon fibre, a semi-automatic gearbox (derived from F1) and a multifunction screen located on the steering wheel.
The sports car manufacturer will only build 25 units of the Lotus Exos Type 125, each example will be sold for one million dollars, and the price includes a special training programme for F1 drivers.

A mi esto no sólo me deja asombrado, sino que al mismo tiempo, me deja muy desconcertado. Como viejo admirador de Lotus, no era esto lo que se esperaba de ellos.
