Vilner presents a MINI Cooper S inspired by Bentley

Upon reading the headline of this article, you have probably found yourself in the same position as me, since we are basically facing a “ZAP! Right in the mouth”: if you present a MINI Cooper S GoodWood inspired by the most striking details and elements of a Rolls-Royce, I do the same but drawing inspiration from the quality presented by your greatest rival, Bentley

Given this, looking at it, I would not be surprised at all if other tuners did the same with other luxury brands. Vilner has decided to present a worthy rival for the MINI Cooper S GoodWood Edition, one inspired, at least in its interior details, by none other than a high-end Bentley.

Even so, Vilner has decided, perhaps so as not to confront BMW head-on, to name its new project “The Italian Job” as a tribute to the film that bears the same name, although in my opinion the name “MINI Inspired by Crewe” might have worked even better.

Be that as it may, today I want to show you a MINI Cooper S that stands out above all for an interior upholstered entirely in brown Nappa leather and Alcantara, a colour very common in every Bentley worth its salt, with details such as the diamond shapes present on the seats, door panels, dashboard and interior roof. On the other hand, the original plastics have been sprayed with a glossy grey finish.

As for the exterior, Vilner has chosen a matte grey paint to cover the entire bodywork, a paint that contrasts wonderfully with the black stripes on the bonnet and roof, or the wheels of the same colour in 18 inches.
