Volkswagen has introduced two new versions into its compact MPV, the Touran, with the aim of offering two new, more efficient and eco-friendly variants. The two versions now available are the Touran BlueMotion Technology and the Cross Touran.

The first of these is fitted with the 1.6 TDI CR 105 CV engine, which achieves fairly low consumption and emissions, at 4.6 litres per 100 km and around 119 grams of CO2. This makes it the most eco-friendly and efficient version in the entire range.

The Touran BlueMotion Technology is combined with the Edition trim, which means it comes as standard with features such as an on-board computer with multifunction display, the Start/Stop function, and the brake energy recovery system.

The Cross Touran, on the other hand, emphasises the ruggedness of an off-road vehicle: the chassis increases ground clearance by around 20 mm, along with wider wheel arches. Alongside this, it features black bumpers and side mouldings. Inside, upholstery with a specific design and more comfortable seats stand out.

Finally, the prices of these two versions will be €22,360 for the Touran BlueMotion Technology, while for the Cross Touran you will have to pay at least €25,540 for the 1.6 TDI 105 CV engine with manual gearbox. With the 7-speed DSG gearbox, it rises to €27,560. The price of the Cross Touran with the 2.0 TDI 140 CV engine is €27,420 for the manual and €29,440 for the automatic. The most expensive of all is the 170 CV version with DSG gearbox, priced at around €31,010.
