Volkswagen presents the Amarok with single cab

Alongside the more playful version of the Canyon, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched the Amarok Single Cab version with greater load space. The brand is clearly committed to growing the Amarok, adjusting and optimising its equipment to reach a broader range of users.

The Amarok Single Cab will be an alternative for all those customers who need greater load space. This model is aimed at a predominantly professional customer profile whose activity is concentrated in rural areas, as well as those who regularly transport large volumes of cargo.

The Amarok Single Cab sacrifices the rear seats to offer a larger load area. In this version, the length of the cargo compartment is 65 cm longer, reaching 2,205 mm, with a total area of 3.57 m2. The suspension of this model has been reinforced, given that it carries more load than the double cab versions. The engines available will be the already familiar 140 and 180 hp TDI units, combined with a manual gearbox and two possible drivetrains: rear-wheel drive and 4MOTION with switchable all-wheel drive.

Equipment includes pre-installation for a towing device, electrically adjustable heated exterior mirrors, central locking, daytime running lights, ABS, off-road ABS, ESP with hill start and descent assist, and 4 airbags, among other features.
