It has been seven years since the Volkswagen Tiguan arrived, and it is time to see a new edition of this German SUV, this time a limited and special one. It is the Volkswagen Tiguan CityScape, which captures all the strength of this car, capable of tackling any terrain while also offering maximum maneuverability through city streets.
Its name already hints at the sporty character of this special edition, aimed at buyers who want to experience thrills on more demanding terrain without giving up the comfort and convenience of this SUV’s equipment. The CityScape edition is based on the T1 Sport trim of the Tiguan.
The Volkswagen Tiguan CityScape Limited Edition features exclusive exterior design elements that set it apart from previous versions. Mainly, the roof and exterior mirrors in black give a more active and dynamic note to the vehicle as a whole, which is further complemented by the exclusive R-Line exterior package.
It has an exclusive spoiler, widened wheel arches, and a matte chrome radiator grille. The diffusers on the front bumpers in black and the 18-inch sports alloy wheels complete the sportier look of this special edition.
On the dashboard we find a multifunction sport steering wheel trimmed in leather with aluminum inserts. If the car has the DSG automatic gearbox, it also features shift paddles. The metallic-look pedals and the titanium black roof give the car a more elegant appearance.
The Volkswagen Tiguan CityScape is available with a 2.0 TDI engine producing 140 CV, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, although it can also be available in 4Motion version. The other engine is a 2.0 TDI that raises the power to 177 CV in combination with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and 4Motion.
