Volkswagen Touareg II tuned by Hofele Design

Hofele Design brings us today a special edition of the Volkswagen Touareg featuring significant aesthetic changes and improvements to its 3.0-litre TDI engine. The renowned GT Royal 470 now adds a revised grille, wider wheel arches and a renewed exhaust system with four outlets.
In addition, at the customer’s request, a programme can be fitted that lowers the body height by up to around 40 mm when parked or driving at a speed below around 80 km/h. Finally, in terms of styling, we can highlight new 22-inch alloy wheels.
As for the engine, thanks to an upgrade to the ECU, the 3.0-litre TDI engine can now deliver a total output of 275 CV and 580 Nm. This represents a significant increase of around 35 CV and 80 Nm. In numbers, the Touareg now accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just around 6.9 seconds, while top speed rises to 229 km/h.
