German tuner ABT brings us today a sportier and more aggressive version of the latest generation of the Volkswagen Beetle. It includes both aesthetic improvements and changes to the suspension, which, together with engines that gain power, guarantee better handling and dynamism.

Starting with the looks, the Volkswagen Beetle prepared by ABT adds an aerodynamic kit that includes a new front spoiler and new rear lights. In addition, the suspension has been lowered and the exhaust system has been modified with the inclusion of two 30 mm exhaust tips.

As might be expected, its styling is also characterised by alloy wheels of exclusive design, available in two sizes: 18 or 20 inches. The engine range has been improved and includes both diesel and petrol versions. Thus we can opt for the 2.0 TDI engine, which delivers 170 CV of power and a maximum torque of 370 Nm, or the small 1.6-litre that now reaches 125 CV.

In the petrol range, the 2.0 TSI engine stands out, since with the ABT POWER Pack it is capable of reaching 240 CV of power. However, if that seems like too much power for the Beetle, there are also two other petrol options: the 1.4-litre with 210 CV and the 1.2 with 140 CV.
