W Motors unveils the Fenyr SuperSport at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show

W Motors is an Arab manufacturer determined to build the most exclusive and expensive sports cars in the world. With the Lykan Hypersport, W Motors managed to appear in the latest instalment of the ‘Fast & Furious’ saga, and now it has just presented its second vehicle at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, the Fenyr Supersport. This second sports car aims to be more expensive, more powerful and faster than its predecessor, although many details remain under wraps for the time being.
The Fenyr Supersport features an evolutionary design derived from the Lykan Hypersport. It is a machine that will reach a top speed of 400 km/h, with a fully developed carbon-fibre body designed to incorporate optimised aerodynamics that allow it to rival the Bugatti Veyron. W Motors claims that, in addition to surpassing the 400 km/h barrier, its latest creation is capable of going from zero to 100 km/h in under 2.7 seconds, although for now this remains theoretical.

Technically, the Fenyr Supersport benefits from a lightweight aluminium tubular chassis and is equipped with a twin-turbocharged engine sourced from two turbines of Porsche origin, a six-cylinder, 4.0-litre flat-six boxer engine that produces ‘from’ 900 CV and 1,200 Nm of torque, after passing through the hands of Ruf. No further variants have been specified so far, but the Arab manufacturer has announced its power output with the 900 CV barrier as the base.
For its part, production will be limited to just 25 units, although the price at which it will be sold is unknown. Considering that the Lykan Hypersport sells for 3.4 million dollars, roughly 3.16 million euros at current exchange rates, a figure for a sports car with less power and slower than the Fenyr Supersport, it is to be expected that it will be more expensive, given the improvements it offers over its predecessor.
