Want something exclusive? Check out this BMW X7 Frozen Black, limited to 40 units
The Bavarian brand has built forty units of this exclusive version called the BMW X7 Frozen Black Edition. Do you want one?

Looking to get behind the wheel of a highly exclusive model? Get ready to meet the new BMW X7 Frozen Black. This mysterious version is limited to forty units and will only be available in Japan. You read that right: the Bavarian brand regularly launches limited special editions for the Japanese market. Wouldn’t you love to drive it?
A few months ago we got to see the BMW M5 inspired by the latest instalment of Mission: Impossible, and the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé turned into true works of art. We could spend hours naming some of the most special versions of the BMW, but now the German manufacturer has gone further and unveiled the new BMW X7 Frozen Black Edition.

This is the new special version of the BMW X7
They will only be available in Japan, but online only; they cannot be bought at dealerships. So what makes the new BMW X7 Frozen Black Edition such a special version? Its name says it all: its colour. This luxury SUV is finished in a paint called Frozen Black, a matt finish that BMW describes as the “perfect jet black”.
All of the brand’s chrome details, and specifically those of this model, have been darkened. That means the kidney grilles, window surrounds and even the exhaust outlets are black. This revolutionary SUV rides on BMW Individual Style alloy wheels in the 758i design, which have also been darkened. In addition, the M Sport brake calipers are also finished in black.

As for the interior, this especially well-equipped BMW X7 comes with six spacious seats. The only options are black leather or Merino leather in the same shade. Wherever leather isn’t fitted, you’ll find a black piano-finish trim from the brand. The headliner is BMW Individual Alcantara in a finish that BMW calls Anthoragit.
We’re sure you’ve come across this treatment before: this isn’t the first time the brand has launched a model with similar characteristics. We’re talking about the BMW 8 Series Coupé and the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé in Frozen Black Edition form. In terms of performance, this new special version is based on the BMW X7 xDrive40d M Sport, which is equipped with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder in-line turbo diesel engine producing 335 CV. It’s all-wheel drive, with power sent through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The new BMW X7 Frozen Black Edition went on sale on 28 October, and we’re confident that almost all the units have already sold out.
