We already know the Mercedes-AMG GT3

Mercedes has officially unveiled the AMG GT3. This model is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT. The GT3 is a high-performance race car designed to meet the FIA GT3 specifications.
To enter the world of competition, it has been fitted with an aggressive, wider carbon-fibre body kit, which includes modified bumpers, ventilated front wheel arches, revised side skirts and new doors. The car also features a ventilated bonnet, carbon-fibre wing mirrors, a rear diffuser and a prominent rear spoiler.

Inside, we find a carbon-fibre racing seat, a digital instrument cluster and a steel roll cage. We can also see a new steering wheel, race-specific switches and plenty of carbon fibre.
The Mercedes GT3 is powered by an improved version of the naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 engine already fitted to the GT3 SLS AMG. This is connected to a six-speed sequential race transmission. Otherwise, the architecture of the AMG GT remains unchanged, with the engine mounted front-centre and the gearbox at the rear axle.
The Mercedes-AMG GT3 will go on sale shortly, and the first deliveries are scheduled for the end of this year.
