What will commercial vehicles of the future look like? Renault has the answer

Renault unveils for the first time worldwide its innovations in light commercial vehicles and sustainable transport at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover

The French manufacturer Renault will be present at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover, from 16 to 22 September 2024, with a proposal full of innovations in the commercial vehicle sector. The company will unveil two of its most significant bets for the future of professional mobility for the first time worldwide: a concept car that anticipates the new generation of light commercial vehicles and a prototype of the Renault Master H2-Tech, a vehicle powered by hydrogen.

IAA Transportation is one of the most important events worldwide in the field of transport and logistics, where the major players in the industry showcase their latest news. Since 1992, this fair has been a key platform for Renault, which has used this showcase to display its advances and maintain its leadership in the commercial vehicle market. In this edition, the manufacturer reinforces its commitment to sustainability and technological solutions for professionals.

The future of commercial transport

The concept car that Renault will unveil at the event will offer a preview of how the brand is reimagining light commercial vehicles, adapting them to the needs of modern transport and sustainability. Alongside it, the Master H2-Tech, a prototype that uses hydrogen as its energy source, seeks to position itself as an efficient and clean solution for intensive use in professional environments. This model will be part of the hydrogen ecosystem that Renault is developing under its HYVIA division, a space that will also be present at the brand’s stand.

HYVIA, the result of the collaboration between Renault and Plug Power, is focused on developing solutions based on hydrogen, designed for long-distance transport and professional use, where emission reduction and energy efficiency are crucial.
