Wolf Rigs Patton, the Hummer H1 converted into a camper vehicle

The trend of camper conversion is reaching every type of vehicle. We have seen very appealing vans for outdoor leisure and others that surprise with their size, both because they are large and because they are small. But those who want strong thrills also have their own vehicle for sleeping outdoors and feeling the power of a potent, capable engine beneath them. For them there is the Wolf Rigs Patton, a camper-converted vehicle based on a Hummer H1.

So we can already imagine that we are facing an impressive vehicle, designed to tackle every type of terrain, however difficult. And it is not only about presenting an engine, suspensions and the rest of the off-road capabilities expected of this kind of vehicle. The structure of the living area is made of aluminium.

This material makes it possible to offer an effective, sturdy and functional space, which also keeps the weight at an appropriate level to preserve the integrity of the chassis and the functionality of the engine. This is a 3.9-litre Cummins engine, for which no power figures have been released. It is paired with a suspension system that provides a ground clearance of 40 centimetres. This gives it the ability to overcome any obstacle and move across those very difficult terrains.

As for the leisure interior, the equipment is quite complete. The bed is located above the driver’s position, and above it there is a skylight which, together with two windows at the front, helps light the space. At the rear there is an L-shaped sofa and a sink. There is also a kitchen with two burners and a bathroom with a shower.

There are plenty of storage points, mainly in the lower part of the interior. There is another compartment, accessed from the outside, which is used to store the spare wheel, gas and extra petrol cylinders and other additional items.

As for the price, do not expect a low figure. The Wolf Rigs Patton has a price, in the United States, of 351,000 euros.
