Bugatti Geneva Motor Show Supercars
Yes, the successor to the Bugatti Veyron will be called Chiron, and it will have ¡¡1500 CV!!

Who doesn’t know the Bugatti Veyron? Practically anywhere in the world you can find a fan of this hyper-car that set a before-and-after mark.
After a decade in the spotlight, the people at Bugatti have long been working on its successor, whose mission is to surpass the high bar left by the Veyron.
The Bugatti Veyron was born with the purpose of becoming the best car in the world. It is, without a doubt, a true engineering masterpiece, a miracle of technique and technology which, thanks to an enormous investment, became for many years a genuine benchmark of performance worldwide, thanks to staggering acceleration and a top speed of over 400 km/h.
However, today it has already been surpassed by several rivals, which has led Bugatti to work hard once again to become, once more, the king of the automotive world. The Veyron’s successor is practically ready, and we are beginning to learn some details, such as the name. The new hyper-car from Bugatti will be called Chiron.

The design of the Chiron is still a mystery as the brand has not revealed any information about it, but it will share certain similarities with the Vision Gran Turismo concept we saw at the Frankfurt Motor Show just a few months ago. Without a doubt, the Chiron is expected to be even more intimidating than the Veyron.
On the technical side, the Chiron is expected to use a thorough revision of the engine the Veyron used until now, that is, an 8.0 W16 engine with four turbos, which in the Veyron delivered up to 1200 CV. Thanks to a deep engineering effort, its power will rise to 1500 CV. All this immense amount of force will be channelled through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which will transfer the power to the ground through a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
Specific tyres newly developed by Michelin will not be missing, nor will carbon-ceramic brakes of epic proportions. Performance will be out of this world, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in approximately 2.3 seconds, and a top speed of around 450-470 km/h.
