Zyrus Strada LP1200, a Huracan modified for only nine lucky owners
The Norwegian company has announced the production of nine units of this model, based on a Lamborghini Huracan, with deliveries starting in July.

Zyrus Engineering is an automotive company based in Norway. A few years ago, the brand sold a track version of the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo LP 640-2, which it called Zyrus LP1200 R. Now, it has wanted to create a similar model, but intended for road driving.
This model is called Zyrus Strada LP1200 and is based on another version, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD. This version of the Huracan is somewhat more comfortable, and the Norwegian company has taken the opportunity to offer this model to customers who want to enjoy driving this car without having to go onto a racetrack.

Luxury driving with comfort
Comfort is fundamental for the brand, so in this case they have kept the elements of the original model, such as air conditioning, the navigation system and others that help improve driving conditions. The seats also contribute to passenger comfort.

These are made of carbon fibre, although they feature hand-stitched leather upholstery. In addition, they can optionally be fitted with harnesses with competition anchorages. Safety is increased with the addition of a roll cage.
As for the mechanics, the transformed model receives a modification to the engine, which gets twin turbos. In the competition model it reaches up to 1,200 CV, while in the road version it is rated at 900 CV. Other added elements include Ohlins TTX suspension, carbon-ceramic brake discs, bespoke forged wheels, an Inconel manifold, and an exhaust made of titanium.
Another element Zyrus has replaced are the bodywork panels, which the company has manufactured in-house from carbon fibre. In total, Zyrus has replaced or added about 600 parts made for this road model. The car’s weight stands at 1,287 kg and generates an aerodynamic downforce of 1,800 kg at 149 km/h.
Nine units
This car has a price of 799,000 euros. Although it may seem a very high price, it includes the car from the factory, with the personalisation kit and complete assembly. Even so, only nine units of the Zyrus Strada LP1200 will be built, the first of which is about to be delivered.
During the second half of 2022 the company expects to have two more ready for delivery, so it will take about three years to have the nine planned units ready.
