1964 Pontiac Banshee XP833 for sale on eBay

What you can see in the header image is none other than a 1964 Pontiac Banshee XP833 Concept, a model that marked a turning point in the design of General Motors cars. Truth be told, you never know what you’re going to find on eBay.
This model was apparently designed by none other than John DeLorean as a rival to the Ford Mustang, which had just been introduced at the time. Unfortunately, once DeLorean finished his work, General Motors’ top executives decided not to put the Banshee into production, since it could endanger the throne held until then by the Chevrolet Corvette.

Because of the decision not to produce the Banshee, a decision that would be repeated time and again with other models in the future, other models benefited from the novel design and solutions this model offered, such as the Corvette C4 or, later, the Pontiac Firebird.
If you’re interested in acquiring this unique model, whose odometer shows barely 1,500 miles and whose price currently hovers around 50,000 dollars, head over to eBay before the auction ends.
