1966 Shelby American GT40

Although the replica mentioned in the title is not new, as it was already reported in the media some time ago, we now have some images that we would like to share with you.

First of all, it should be mentioned that this new limited edition is being produced to celebrate the 85th birthday of Carroll Shelby, recalling the participation of the Shelby American GT40 in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, in which it took the first three places.

85 examples of each award-winning car will be built, respecting the original colours of the sports cars. Although the exterior and interior design includes important improvements such as spoilers, a personalised plate, Carroll Shelby’s signature on the floor-to-roof upholstery and more, a traditional engine has been kept under the bonnet.

No details of the price of this special edition have been revealed, but it should not be a large sum since it is a replica.
