A 1921 Bentley will be auctioned at Pebble Beach

Incredible but true: if the idea of an auction where you could acquire a magnificent Pagani Zonda C12 in pink left you completely horrified, today I want to tell you about the incredible chance to get your hands on a true piece of history.
If you are a lover of Bentley, you won’t want to miss the auction held by the well-known house Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach, an auction where you will have the opportunity to acquire the first 3-litre built in 1921 by Bentley, essentially the first production vehicle from the English house.
Essentially, as mentioned above, this vehicle is the first production car, since up to that date Bentley had only built two prototypes before the car you see in the images, the first of which has disappeared, while the second prototype is owned by Bentley itself.
In the vehicle’s history, apart from something as fundamental as simply surviving the Second World War, we must mention its participation in numerous competitions during the 1940s, before passing into the hands of an American owner from 1978 to 1986.
After this, it passed to its current owner, who has managed to restore it to exactly the condition it left the factory in. A true work of art on wheels that will change hands, apparently because its current owner needs a considerable sum of money to refocus on his personal collection of Rolls-Royce classics.
