Ferrari LaFerrari Curiosities Supercars
A buyer is purchasing an F12 Berlinetta Ferrari to qualify for the LaFerrari

The title may sound strange, but it is the plain and simple truth. A man has ordered an F12 Berlinetta Ferrari solely to qualify for the purchase of one of the 499 LaFerraris that are going to be built.
The buyer in question is a native of the Philippines, and that is where he made the purchase of the car. The supercar was bought from the country’s only official dealer, Autostrada Motore.
This whim has cost the wealthy buyer no less than 750,000 dollars (approximately 600,000 euros), due to the high import costs and taxes that vehicles carry in the Philippines (its price in our country comes to 309,000 euros). It is, in fact, the first F12 Berlinetta sold in the country.
It is the most expensive and fastest model in the Italian range (with the LaFerrari’s permission), it features a V12 engine with 740 CV and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 340 km/h.

It should be remembered that the hypercar of the prancing horse was presented at the beginning of the year, with production limited to 499 units. But not just anyone can acquire one: it is the brand that chooses the potential owners. To qualify for the purchase of a LaFerrari, you must have bought at least seven Ferrari in the last three years, and one of them must be a special edition in the style of the 599 GTO. In that case, perhaps Ferrari will get in touch with you to offer you a unit of the Italian hybrid hypercar.
