A final farewell edition of the Gallardo
Lamborghini will build one last special edition of its Gallardo as a farewell to the model.

How many are there now? I think I’ve lost count, and that was a long time ago. You’re probably wondering what I mean. It’s simple: the countless special and/or limited editions that the Lamborghini Gallardo has had and still has. Yes, that Italian supercar that has been around longer than Methuselah.
Just this week, my colleague Guillermo told you about the successor to this old bull and the simplification its range would undergo. The reasons behind this decision are well explained in the previous article, so I won’t go on at length. The interesting and important part comes now.
Car&Driver itself, after interviewing one of the directors of the Italian brand, states that Lamborghini is preparing a final special edition of this model as a farewell. Little is known about this variant, but one source has explained that it will be something better, more expensive and more powerful than the Bicolore and Tricolore.
The truth is I’m eager to see Lamborghini release the first official images of what will be the last Gallardo. I want it to be something spectacular, just like its successor, which we know will use the same seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that the new Audi R8 2013 uses.
