A Suzuki Jimny 6x6? It's possible, and they demonstrate it with this spectacular render

The Suzuki Jimny has fallen victim to renders, which have managed to adapt the 6×6 body of the Mercedes G-Class to the Japanese off-roader’s frame.

Looking back at 2018, we must highlight one of the automotive novelties that has caused the most excitement: the latest generation of the Suzuki Jimny. This small off-roader has demonstrated its extraordinary off-road capability which, combined with its attractive styling, has made it a sales success in barely a year. However, as we saw a few days ago thanks to Wald International, some people want to go even further with the Japanese off-roader, as is the case with this designer who has treated us to a render of a supposed 6×6 version of the Jimny.

The previous-generation Mercedes G 63 6×6 caused great anticipation, since it was presented as one of the most radical models ever manufactured by an automotive company. At the same time, this offspring of the three-pointed star house served as a source of inspiration for many, even to shape the same concept but applied to the small Suzuki Jimny.

Thanks to the imagination and skill with Photoshop of SRK Designs, this render specialist company has been able to bring to life this 6×6 version of the Japanese 4×4. In a possible production variant, numerous mechanical components would need to be modified, but the nature of a render has allowed the designer to play freely with the body of the Suzuki Jimny.

At first glance, we find an untouched front end, where barely any changes have been made, leaving all the prominence to the new pair of wheels positioned at the rear of the Japanese off-roader. Wider, more open wheel arches together with a stiffer, harder suspension are responsible for housing the six wheels this very special Jimny features.

At the same time, a pick-up style configuration has been placed at the rear to complete the original shape of the 6×6, giving the off-roader of Suzuki a more aggressive and imposing look. This render has only modified the Jimny’s styling, but in a hypothetical real-world version we could also be talking about a more powerful engine.

Without a doubt, the new Suzuki Jimny has hit the market with force, since with production overwhelmed by the high number of orders, the Japanese 4×4 has been a resounding success for the brand. Many people are now fantasising about applying modifications to the Jimny, and very soon we will see more variants although the 6×6 most likely won’t be among them.
