Abarth 695 Esseesse, complete and well-equipped limited edition of just 1,390 units
Abarth announces the 695 Esseesse, a limited edition that brings distinctive styling and mechanical improvements that place it above the Competizione

Taking its star model, the Abarth 695, as a reference, the scorpion brand adds the surname Esseesse to create an exclusive limited edition inspired by the 1964 “Cinquino”, a version that at the time increased its displacement to 690 cc, delivering 38 CV and reaching 140 km/h, also produced as a limited edition of which only 1,000 units were built for those seeking a daily car with sporty performance.
In its modern reinterpretation, this Abarth 695 Esseesse stands out for its unique performance, even capable of outpacing the Competizione version over the quarter mile (400 m), as well as a distinctive design that will be available to only 1,390 lucky owners. Aesthetically, and in reference to its name, its bodywork will be available in just two colours: 695 units in Negro Scorpione and another 695 units in Gris Campovolo. These colours will be accompanied by the white found on the front air dam, the mirror housings, the side vinyls and the 17-inch wheels, behind which hide Brembo calipers painted red.

Inside the Abarth 695 Esseesse, sportiness is evident on every side, adorned with unique and exclusive details. It features numbered sport seats signed by Sabelt, which include the legend “one of 695”, as well as contrast stitching in the same colour as the bodywork, a white rear structure and red seatbelts. We must not forget the carbon fibre inserts applied to elements such as the steering wheel, the gear lever and the pedals themselves, and as a further detail, the model designation has been laser-engraved on the Alcantara area of the dashboard.

But the Abarth 695 Esseesse is not merely a matter of looks, since mechanically it has improvements that allow greater acceleration and better cornering. To this end, it starts with a weight reduction of 10 kg compared to the Competizione, thanks to a new aluminium bonnet and the Akrapovic exhaust system. Added to this is the rear spoiler adjustable from 0 to 60°, capable of generating 42 kg of downforce at 200 km/h when fully tilted. The suspension is handled by Koni FSD dampers on both axles and, as I mentioned earlier, braking relies on the Brembo braking system with four-piston calipers and 305 mm ventilated discs at the front and 240 mm at the rear.

Under its bonnet, bringing the Abarth 695 Esseesse to life, is the powerful 1,400 cc T-Jet engine, capable of delivering 180 CV and torque of 250 Nm, linked to a manual gearbox which can optionally be replaced by a robotised sequential gearbox with shifts made via the paddles behind the steering wheel. Thanks to this configuration, the 695 Esseesse accelerates to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 km/h with the spoiler set at 0°.
Finally, although after the fun offered by all its mechanical components this may seem less important, the Abarth 695 Esseesse includes as standard equipment the Uconnect infotainment system with satellite navigation and a 7-inch touchscreen, along with connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as DAB digital radio.
