Abarth has already reached 75 years of history and will celebrate it with the limited edition 695 75º Anniversario, which also pays tribute to its T-Jet petrol engine

Officially, on 31 March 1949, a new brand was born with a scorpion as its logo; Abarth was born once its foundation by Carlo Abarth, together with racing driver Guido Scagliarini, was consolidated. From then on it achieved numerous successes in competition, along with world records, beginning with the Abarth 204 A, its first car derived from the FIAT 1100, with which driver Tazio Nuvolari secured his last victory in 1950.

The brand is now close to celebrating 75 years of existence, and in the modern era it has marked notable anniversaries with limited editions, such as in 2020, when it celebrated the 70th anniversary of the brand with the Abarth 695 as the star. This model will once again have the honour of marking another birthday for the brand, this time with the limited edition 695 75º Anniversario, which also serves to pay tribute to its T-Jet engine.

The Abarth 695 already commands considerable attention, and in this 75th Anniversary limited edition it will do so even more thanks to the exterior livery created for the occasion, featuring a dedicated logo that celebrates the journeys of Abarth enthusiasts. For the first time, a scorpion covers the entire roof and is painted in gold, a colour that contrasts perfectly with the black bodywork. The black finish also appears on other elements such as the Abarth logos, the vinyls for the 75th anniversary with a logo formed by pistons and connecting rods, and the 17-inch alloy wheels behind which hides the Brembo braking system with black calipers. The exterior is finished with rear windows tinted in black.

Inside the Abarth 695 75º Anniversario, the brand’s designers have applied Alcantara inserts to achieve a traditional sporty touch, while the Sabelt carbon seats add a sporty character and continue the design applied to the exterior, featuring stitching and a reinterpretation of the 75th anniversary logo in gold. To these design touches must be added standard equipment that includes, among other items, a 7-inch DAB radio, a 7-inch TFT digital display, connectivity via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, automatic climate control, Beats audio systems, navigation and Mopar Connect functions.

Mechanically there are no changes: the Abarth 695 75º Anniversario is equipped with the 1,368 cc T-Jet petrol engine, a figure that also determines the number of units to be built for this limited edition, hence the tribute to the T-Jet. This engine delivers 180 CV and 250 Nm of torque, enabling it to reach 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h. It also features Koni FSD dampers on both axles and the Record Monza exhaust system with active valve, so its spectacular sound is guaranteed.
