There will be an electric pick-up from Hyundai and it could be called Ioniq T10. Will we see it soon?

Although Spain does not have any Hyundai model within the pick-up range, the brand has several models aimed at the markets of the United States, Asia and Australia, such as the Hyundai Santa Cruz. And it continues working to offer its customers in these countries new products that may be of interest to those who use this type of vehicle in their daily life.

The Australian outlet Drive has announced the launch of a new electric pick-up from Hyundai, which will arrive within a while. No details are known about this vehicle, designed for hard work in the field, but we do know the name it will receive. It will be the Ioniq T10.

This says a lot about this model. First, that it will be part of the Hyundai electric vehicle family. In addition, it will be a large vehicle, since it will sit above the upcoming Ioniq 7, which will launch shortly and will be the Hyundai version of the Kia EV9.

The details of this new vehicle are still limited to rumours and speculation. But there are clues that may offer some more information about what we can expect. We start from the new IMA platform that the Korean company previewed some time ago. This will replace the current E-GMP.

This platform will allow it to be used both in small SUV models and in other larger vehicles. Another hint is KIA’s announcement that two different pick-up models will soon be included, one of smaller size and another larger, so this project could be part of the sister brand’s proposal.

Another clue is that Hyundai has also registered the name Ioniq T7, so it could be a small-sized pick-up, perhaps similar to the Ford Ranger. The Hyundai Ioniq T10 could be an alternative to the Ford F-150 Lightning, so an interesting future is presented in the market for large, considerably sized pick-ups.
