Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sprint Plus: petrol or diesel, with Q4 all-wheel drive
Alfa adds the interesting Sprint Plus versions to the Stelvio range, with extensive standard equipment and more than 6,000 euros in discounts

The new Sprint Plus versions of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio range are now available on the Spanish market, reinforcing the appeal of one of the most sporty-minded SUVs.
These Sprint Plus versions are characterised by a very complete finish and are available with two engines: the 2.0 Turbo petrol with 200 CV, and the 2.2 JTD turbodiesel with 190 CV. In both cases they are paired with the 8-speed automatic gearbox and the Alfa Romeo Q4 all-wheel drive system. It’s worth recalling that Alfa Romeo updated the Stelvio range in 2020, and that since late last year buyers can also opt for the sportier Alfa Stelvio Veloce Ti variants.
Complete equipment and an attractive discount
The prices of these new versions for our market are as follows, with the brand’s promotion already applied. Compared with list prices, which in both cases exceed 59,000 euros, the saving from the discount is around 6,000 euros:
- Stelvio 2.0 T Sprint Plus AWD: 52,797 euros
- Stelvio 2.2 JTD Sprint Plus AWD: 53,150 euros
Neither version features mild hybridisation, so they qualify for the C environmental label from the DGT. As for choosing between them, it is not easy with such similar prices, but we would opt for the 2.0 Turbo petrol for those who want to enjoy driving, and for the 2.2 JTD for those who value the best cost per kilometre and make frequent motorway journeys.
The best thing about these versions is that they come with extremely complete equipment. Among the most notable features are the 19-inch alloy wheels, the sports seats with mixed fabric and leather upholstery, the multifunction sports steering wheel trimmed in leather with start button and integrated shift paddles, aluminium pedals and other specific decorative details.

Comfort and safety features are also added, such as the noise-reduction pack, electric front seats, the Alfa Connect system with an 8.8-inch touchscreen and navigation, wireless phone charger, keyless start and entry, and Alfa Connected services.
As driving aids, the Sprint Plus versions of the Stelvio come with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping system, fatigue detector, automatic high beams, rear-view camera, blind-spot monitoring and parking sensors.
