Anticipating April Fool's Day or reality? First details of the Porsche Pajun

What names Porsche is coming up with for upcoming models! We all already know the Porsche Cajun, a scaled-down Cayenne, which was supposed to be presented in 2014. But now comes the main course, none other than the Porsche Pajun, for the time being a scaled-down model of the Panamera.

The news comes from Autobild and tells us that the Pajun will start by sharing engines with the Panamera and will go on sale at around 60,000 euros. It would not have as much luxury as the Panamera – nor perhaps the turbos – and could be considered an entry-level model in the range.

And for those who are racking their brains trying to work out the reason for the name, Porsche has simply combined the names “Panamera” and “Junior” into a single word. The Pajun would make its debut in five years’ time, and we will see whether Porsche does as well with the Pajun as it did with the Panamera, even though the inventiveness of the Stuttgart boys seems to have been a little dulled lately.
