Aston Martin DB9 GT: 547 CV for the most powerful DB9

Aston Martin defines it as the ‘most compelling production DB to date’. The DB9 GT thus becomes the most powerful ever built, while a series of styling and cabin upgrades keep it current and distinctive, offering an innovative product at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The bodywork receives a splitter and a diffuser painted in black, front and rear light clusters with subtle adjustments, and a set of 20-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels. Two small details, such as the black anodised brake calipers and the GT badge on the fuel cap, distinguish it even further.
Once inside the Aston Martin DB9 GT, the 2+2 seating layout of this British coupé remains intact. The steering wheel is trimmed in Alcantara, and several centre console components feature a carbon fibre finish and copper-coloured stitching, which also appears on the sports seats.

However, it is under the bonnet that the Aston Martin DB9 GT improves on the standard DB9. From its naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine, 547 CV are extracted at 6,750 rpm, with 620 Nm of torque available at 5,500 rpm. The six-speed Touchtronic II transmission, mounted in a central position, improves the centre of gravity and sends power to the rear wheels through an electronic gear-change control system, allowing the DB9 GT to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 295 km/h.
Other technical features of the Aston Martin DB9 GT include independent double-wishbone suspension and a three-stage independent damping system that lets the driver choose between three modes: Normal, Sport and Track. The DB9 GT is now open for orders, with an official price starting at €187,000.
