Aston Martin promises updates for the DB11, DBS and Vantage models
The British company will change several of its models, adding original-equipment modifications Mercedes to update and improve their performance and design.

Aston Martin has spent months announcing that a good number of new developments regarding the new models and those already on the market will soon arrive. Updates that will allow the brand to move forward with new features and give a fresh look to models we all already know, such as the DB11, the DBS and the Vantage.
Specifically, Lawrence Stroll, CEO of Aston Martin, promised that more than ten new models with Mercedes technology in their engines would be launched. Furthermore, the changes will update these models and turn them, according to the CEO, into completely new vehicles. That said, although these modifications will change their appearance, they will retain elements of the current models and keep that British air that a Aston Martin car cannot do without.

The MBUX system from Mercedes in Aston Martin
These changes include the MBUX infotainment system, which can currently be found in several Mercedes models. Although it will use the functions of the German system, the version present in Aston Martin models will have its own interface, with the “appropriate English accent“, so that the essence of British cars is not lost.
Combustion engines will continue to be common in Aston Martin models. The 5.2-litre V12 block offered by the DBS will continue to be available. It delivers 725 CV and 900 Nm of maximum torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration remains at 3.4 seconds, and it reaches a top speed of 340 km/h.
The 4.0-litre V8 engine will also remain, although it could see a performance increase. It offers a power output of 510 CV and maximum torque of 685 Nm, although the Vantage F1 Edition was tuned up to 535 CV. Mercedes has assured that this engine can be pushed considerably further and will likely offer several surprises in this regard.
The changes will also feature revised suspensions, improved gearboxes and completely redesigned cabins. So if we already like these models, we are convinced that the modifications coming to them will surprise us.
