Attention! Will this be the prototype on which the Audi e-tron 2023 will be based?

The Audi e-tron is going to be renewed in 2023 and although we don’t know much about this model yet, an advanced prototype of the new e-tron has been seen.

Next year, Audi should show the new Audi e-tron 2023, the update of the brand’s electric SUV. But although it seems not long to go, the truth is that we still have no clear information about it. So, when Audi unveiled a camouflaged prototype during the e-Cannonball, a sporting event with electric vehicles, we became alert. This car could be an advanced prototype of that future e-tron, and the images that have been published are, to say the least, interesting.

The brand has not named this model, so we don’t know whether it is really that model or any other it could announce soon. Although the chances that it is the update of the electric SUV are very high, and we can take a look at what awaits us next year.

The presentation date of the new Audi e-tron 2023 is believed to be the Paris Motor Show, in a few weeks. Until then we won’t know whether this car represents the advance of the expected model, but we can anticipate some things, according to these photos.

What do we expect from the new Audi e-tron 2023

Audi wants the new e-tron 2023 to be much more efficient than its predecessor. To do so, the engines will be replaced with more powerful and efficient ones. The battery pack will also be replaced with a more powerful one, which is expected to have a capacity to offer a range of around 600 kilometres.

If we consider that the prototype shown in Hannover is the new e-tron 2023, we will be facing a possible RS version of the model. It would not be strange, since there have been other occasions when we have seen this version. The orange-coloured grille is proof of this, so we can expect a variant with three electric motors. This would make the Audi e-tron the brand’s most powerful electric car.

This new model of the e-tron will be on the market until 2026, when it will be replaced by another SUV, which will change not only its configuration but also its name. But first, let’s see what the new generation of this car offers and enjoy its presence on the market.
