Audi City E-tron photographed in Berlin

Audi has been filming a video of the City E-tron prototype at Potsdamer Platz, one of the busiest public squares in Berlin and the venue for events such as the Berlinale, the city’s film festival. As a result, it wasn’t very difficult to capture the images and videos you’ll find in this post.

In the absence of official information, the only thing we can do for now is speculate. The first point is that the stickers covering the bodywork are expected to be removed by next September, at the Frankfurt show.

As for the vehicle itself, it can be described as a sort of two-seater “buggy”, with the passenger seated just behind the driver. The car moves with complete stealth, which suggests an electric heart.

The Audi City E-tron will be the successor to the Volkswagen L1, which debuted in Frankfurt two years ago and was capable of covering 100 km on a single litre of diesel. It is presumable that the Audi will improve on that figure (not in l/100 km, since the Audi is electric, but in terms of efficiency).
