Audi Q8 60 TFSIe by ABT: The plug-in hybrid SUV goes radical
The experienced German tuner has gone to work on the “eco” version of the Audi Q8, giving it an extra dose of visual aggressiveness and more power

The Audi Q8 is an SUV that, even from the factory, already has a sporty and muscular look. However, the German tuner specialising in modifying vehicles from the Group Volkswagen has got its hands on this SUV, giving it a truly radical appearance and raising its power to well over 500 CV.
The last time we brought you a creation by ABT it was precisely with an SUV from the brand of the four rings, specifically the Audi RS Q3, with which the tuner celebrated its 125th anniversary in grand style. A tremendous experience that is embodied today in our protagonist: the Audi Q8 60 TFSIe by ABT.
Aggressiveness to spare
As we mentioned, one of the strong points of this preparation is its design, which, just from looking at its front end, radiates aggressiveness thanks to its bumper with large air intakes, a more prominent grille and its front splitter. Elements that enhance the aggressive gaze of its light units with Matrix LED technology.

From its side profile, its enormous 22-inch ABT Sports GR wheels in gloss (or matt) black are the ideal complement to give the SUV a touch of spice. And if you feel these enormous wheels fall short, ABT offers the option of fitting GR-F 23-inch wheels.
Besides the wheels, the styling kit included in this preparation features side skirts that give the SUV a sportier air, though in doing so it loses some of its off-road capability; but with 530 CV of power at your right foot, I don’t think anyone will mind.

At the rear, its rear bumper, together with the aggressive diffuser that embraces the four exhaust outlets, and the rear spoiler are the final key elements that give this sporty SUV such a radical image.
Under the bonnet
With the styling section covered, it’s time to talk about the heart of our protagonist: a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that goes from 462 CV to 530 CV thanks to the performance upgrades fitted by the tuner. With this, the new Q8 60 TFSI by ABT will be able to considerably improve on the figures of the standard model: 0 to 100 in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h.

On top of this, let’s not forget that we are looking at the plug-in hybrid version of the German SUV, so it will be possible to cover up to 45 kilometres on fully electric power.
For the time being, ABT has not disclosed any prices, although what we are sure of is that it won’t be suitable for every budget, since the standard version of the Q8 with this powertrain starts from 87,550 euros.
