Audi RS Q3 2013, production model leaked

Surprisingly and unexpectedly, the first images of the new Audi RS Q3 have just leaked, a small SUV with strong potential thanks to its new engine and the tuning of its chassis. The first crossover from the brand of the four rings to carry the “RS” name will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in its production version.

Based on the concept car, which it shares many features with, the RS Q3 offers a design that will leave no one indifferent. Its sporty line is accentuated even further by a body sitting closer to the ground, wing mirrors painted in a different colour from the rest of the car, new alloy wheels, a rear diffuser, oval exhaust pipes, a honeycomb-style grille and widened wing arches.

The interior has been designed in the purest Quattro GmbH style. The flat-bottomed steering wheel with metal paddle shifters, the sports seats with leather upholstery stitched in a diamond pattern, the pedals, and the door and dashboard trims made of polished aluminium are some of the features of the RS Q3’s cabin.

Regarding the mechanicals, we can only confirm the use of all-wheel drive Quattro and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that the brand calls S Tronic. Engine details are still unknown.
