The Aznom Palladium is a luxury SUV that will be limited to ten units. It will be unveiled next Thursday, 5 November. Shall we learn more about it?

Aznom Automotive has announced that it will reveal the Palladium this Thursday, 5 November, following the cancellation of the Milano Monza Open-Air Motor Show. The original unveiling of the limited-production ‘hyper-limousine’ was scheduled for 29 October, but the event was cancelled due to the extraordinary situation we are living through because of the Covid19 pandemic.

The Aznom Palladium will likely become one of the most extravagant luxury vehicles of the year, and the Monza-based company describes it as an ‘all-terrain luxury saloon’. Judging by the sketches published earlier, the description is quite accurate, as the Palladium looks like a giant, raised saloon. Aznom says it is almost 6 metres long and 2 metres tall, so it is safe to say the Palladium will not be the easiest vehicle to drive on city streets.

The output of around 680 CV comes from a 5.7-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which the company says will produce “more than 700 horsepower and more than 800 Nm of maximum torque“. Aznom did not specify which chassis the Palladium is based on, but it did say the bodywork will be produced using “handcrafted manufacturing techniques”. Aznom has been in the business of unique and limited-edition vehicles for 13 years, and one of its earlier models was the Atulux RAM 1500, which featured a bespoke body with a longer roofline and a custom rear section, turning the truck into a “luxury saloon”.

The Aznom Palladium, which will also be offered in “2WD + 4WD”, will be built in only 10 units, and each one will be fully customisable for each client. The bodywork is said to be built using techniques from the past, such as hand-beating the steel panels. In terms of styling, the Palladium has a front end reminiscent of a Rolls-Royce because of its similar grille and headlights. Everything points to it also featuring suicide doors, but the side view is possibly the most controversial.

Because of the enormous C-pillar sitting above what may be the most pronounced wheel arches we have seen. At the rear, the Palladium features thin rear light clusters spanning the full width of the vehicle, a sports-car-style rear window, and a massive diffuser incorporating two square exhaust outlets.
