Bentayga Mulliner - 01

Some cars seem as though they will always showcase all the luxury possible, but when we least expect it, they show us there is more than we have found so far. This is the case of the Bentley Bentayga, which is already an SUV that can be considered luxurious… until we come across the Bentayga Mulliner and realize they can do it even better.

The specialists in the company’s personalization division have taken the model a step further and managed to create a truly appealing version. Even more so, I should say. On the exterior we find a two-tone body, while the wheels are fitted with 22-inch alloy wheels exclusive to this variant and which, for the moment, will not be found on any other version of the model.

The bodywork has a style that will be very recognizable compared to the original Bentayga and will help it be perceived as an even more special model than the base version. But where this difference and the added luxury will really be noticeable is in the cabin. For the upholstery, they have opted for a design that blends a traditional style with a more modern one.

Different types of interior for each customer

There are up to seven different color combinations, so that the seats have a different finish from the front part of the car. The upholstery is hand-stitched and has seams that offer an elegant contrast that enhances the different look of the finishes. The cabin also features walnut wood trim, which is also exclusive to this version, to create a more elegant ambience not found in the base Bentayga.

There is also an interior lighting system that creates six different ambiences, which can be combined with the audio system “with the highest quality in its class,” as the brand tells us: a 20-speaker system, a 1,950 W amplifier and 21 channels. And so that music and ambience aren’t the only things that encourage relaxation on board this car, a bottle cooler in the rear central console and two Cumbia Crystal glasses made specifically for it help make the journey more enjoyable.

As for the engine, it is equipped with a 6.0-litre W12 engine that produces 600 CV and a maximum torque of 900 Nm, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, thanks to a top speed of 300 km/h. It will be a very limited edition, as it is a hand-built model that requires a great deal of work and will not be repeated many times. Interested buyers will be able to order it within a few weeks, although deliveries won’t begin until the end of the year. In any case, Bentley wants to bring one of these units to the Geneva Motor Show to find future customers.
