BMW 2 Series Convertible, now with BMW M Performance

The BMW have always been known for the enormous customisation possibilities they have offered throughout their history. Today this has not stopped, and the brand itself, through its subsidiary M Performance, offers numerous accessories with which to customise our new BMW.
This is the case of the 2 Series, which in its Convertible version is dressed in the many accessories that M Performance makes available to customers.
To show what the Germans are capable of, they present a “full equip” unit, loaded with customised elements that completely change the image of the small German convertible. The unit in the photographs is fitted with the 2.0 diesel engine (220d), but its exterior appearance could pass for that of an M thanks to the large number of styling elements it carries.

Externally, the 220d Convertible is fitted with “Styling 405 M” wheels, although there is also another option, the so-called “Styling 624 M”. Painted in black, behind them lies an upgraded braking system with fixed calipers painted in M Blue. If we look closely, we will notice that along the bodywork there are various decals, as well as a grille painted in black and mirrors whose trims are made of carbon fibre.
At the rear we find an upgraded exhaust system with two outlets, one on each side, and a small diffuser that further emphasises the sporty character of this small BMW. Of course, both bumpers are signed by M, as are the sill trims.

Inside, the changes are also evident. Both the steering wheel and the gear lever are trimmed in Alcantara, while all the interior trim can be ordered in carbon fibre, giving the cabin a racing touch. As a final touch, M Performance offers a reprogramming of the 220d’s engine, which increases its power by 11 CV to 204 CV, improving acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h by 0.3 seconds.
