BMW M240i M Performance, a limited edition with plenty of carbon
The BMW M240i M Performance will have nothing to envy its big brother, the M2. It will already include M Performance elements and will be produced as a limited edition.

If what you are looking for is a 2 Series Coupé that is as sporty as possible, but without going to the extreme of the M2, the BMW M240i is the closest option. If we add that you can also have it with a number of M Performance parts, you are guaranteed a coupé that is among the most exclusive on the market, even more so if I tell you that it will only be produced as a limited edition of just 750 units.
The BMW M240i M Performance radiates the sportiness and exclusivity of M Performance components from every angle, with almost all of them made from carbon fibre. It features an aerodynamic kit that, at the front, includes a new bumper with air guides and a splitter on the lower section, while the black finish of the characteristic BMW kidney grille stands out against the Alpine White bodywork.
At the rear we find a diffuser painted almost entirely, leaving the central area in black, plus a small spoiler in carbon fibre. Carbon fibre is also present on the exhaust outlets, which carry the M logo for added distinction, and on the mirror housings. The package is completed by 19-inch forged two-tone wheels, with spokes finished in polished and others in Orbit Grey, fitted with 225/35 R19 tyres on the front axle and 245/30 R19 on the rear axle. In the interior, there are only small carbon fibre details.

No significant changes have been made to the mechanical side, which is understandable given that this model is the forerunner of the M2. The BMW M240i M Performance still entrusts its heart to the 3.0-litre six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, with TwinScroll turbocharger, delivering a considerable output of 340 CV with a maximum torque of 500 Nm. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed Steptronic automatic, the latter also available with the xDrive permanent all-wheel-drive system.
If you think one of the 750 units of the BMW M240i M Performance should be in your garage, you should not think about it for long, as they are expected to start being available from next July.
