BMW M3 GTS vs Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Fifth Gear)

The guys from Fifth Gear give us an interesting comparison between two vehicles designed to raise the heart rate of whoever sits behind their wheel. These are radical versions, with no concessions to luxury, that Vicki Butler Henderson and Tiff Needell set about pushing to the limit on the track.
What’s more, it just so happens that both the BMW M3 GTS and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS produce the same power output (450 hp to be exact). To do so, the BMW uses a 4.4-litre V8 engine, while the Porsche achieves it with the timeless 3.8-litre flat-six.
The comparison unfolds in a style very similar to the famous “dogfights” of Jason Plato and Mr. Needell. So get ready for a series of slides and lap times. I won’t give anything away. Eager to know who the winner is? Go on then. Hit “play” and enjoy.
P.S.: it’s a shame they didn’t make the comparison with a 911 GT3 RS 4.0. It would have been epic.
