BMW X5: prices and information on the third generation

The third generation of the BMW X5 has arrived in Spain, with a very attractive range of engines and equipment that will be expanded at the end of the year with the arrival of the mid-range engines of the model. With this generation, this will be the first time there is a version without all-wheel drive. The range will consist of the xDrive30d and M50d diesels, plus the only petrol version for now, the xDrive50i.

The power of the diesel engines will be 258 and 381 hp, in the xDrive30d and M50d respectively. The xDrive50i delivers 449 hp. Prices of the new X5 in our market start at 65,600 euros.

As you will see, the standard equipment on the diesels is quite complete, including six airbags, cruise control with braking function, automatic connection of lights and wipers, front and rear parking distance control, exterior mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle and electric folding, automatic opening of the tailgate, front seats with electric height adjustment, CD MP3 radio with iDrive controller, 6.5-inch screen, Aux-In connection, USB port, Bluetooth connection for mobile phones and intelligent emergency call. It also adds hill descent control and alloy wheels.

The petrol xDrive50i model adds to the above xenon headlights, front seats with electric adjustment and memory function for the driver’s seat, leather upholstery, chrome exterior trim and alloy wheels fitted with run-flat 255/50 tyres.

For the top diesel variant, the M50d will feature adaptive chassis, M sport suspension, front seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara, sport steering wheel with gearshift paddles, and interior roof lining in BMW Individual. It will also include the M aerodynamic package and longitudinal roof rails in BMW Individual, among other details.

Various navigation solutions, internet access services and apps are available as options, along with a 16-speaker surround sound system, night vision system and Driving Assistant system.
