Brabus 800: the wildest reinterpretation of the Mercedes E 63S AMG

Brabus will be present at the Geneva Motor Show, and it will bring along the 800. It is the most radical Mercedes E-Class thanks to its 800 CV and 1,000 Nm of torque.

Luxury vehicle tuners pull out their best tricks to crown themselves at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens its doors next Monday, March 6. One firm that cannot miss this date is, without a doubt, Brabus, which intends to make a high-profile appearance with its latest creation, the 800. This new vehicle takes as its base the already radical Mercedes E 63S AMG, but the German tuner takes the saloon to an unprecedented level.

Brabus is known for offering a range of vehicles that are much sportier, more aggressive and, at the same time, more exclusive, which are derived from the Mercedes models with the AMG badge. This time it was the turn of the E-Class, which received a tune radical enough to challenge several supercars, but the tuner decided that was not enough.

It is true that Brabus exalts every element of an Mercedes, yet it manages to keep the sobriety of the German saloon intact while adding an extra touch of sportiness. This is reflected in various components included in the Brabus 800 package, such as the front splitter, the enormous 21-inch Platinum Edition wheels, or the rear diffuser, which houses the four exhaust outlets.

Inside the cabin there are also a series of upgrades, which mark the German tuner’s mark on the E-Class. The seats are trimmed in Alcantara and leather, something also available as standard in the pumped-up saloon, but Brabus has wanted to expand the possible combinations. Specifically, red and black work together to give the driver a unique experience inside the cabin.

However, where the real magic of Brabus happens is under the bonnet of its creations and in this case it was not going to be any different. The well-known 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is responsible for bringing the E 63S AMG to life, delivering 612 CV of power and 850 Nm of torque, but the tuner has managed to extract even more impressive figures. To be more precise, the Brabus 800 boasts an impressive 800 CV and 1,000 Nm of torque, achieved by fitting two high-performance turbos capable of delivering 1.6 bar.

At the same time, both the ECU and the exhaust have been modified to refine the power and torque delivered by its V8. These modifications allow the most radical E-Class to reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h, not bad for a saloon capable of seating up to five people.

Without a doubt, this new Brabus creation is imposing and aggressive, two key elements that can be appreciated much better thanks to its presence at the Geneva Motor Show. For now we do not know the price of this modification, but we will soon know much more after its presentation in Switzerland.
