Huracan Lamborghini Convertibles Supercars
Lamborghini shows a glimpse of the Huracán Performante Spyder in this video
Lamborghini has treated us to a short video in which we can catch a glimpse of what the Huracán Performante Spyder will be, which will be unveiled in Geneva.

Rumours turn into test mules and, finally, these into teasers. Without a doubt, the process of unveiling a vehicle is tedious, both for manufacturers and for spectators, but the wait is usually worth it. Lamborghini has revealed part of what we will be able to see at its stand in Geneva, which will be headed by a new variant of the Aventador and the star of this article, the long-awaited and exclusive Huracán Performante Spyder.
This supercar has generated expectation almost since the launch of its hardtop version but, thanks to a video provided by the brand itself, we can make out for a thousandth of a second what will be the most radical Huracán convertible to date. However, Lamborghini has chosen to carry out this teaser in a different and rather unusual way.
First, we can see how the bull brand provides us with various details about the Performante that we all know and, at the same time, we can enjoy it in its entirety during the video. After analysing its impressive – and controversial – time at the Nürburgring, Lamborghini announces that a completely new experience is approaching, which is undoubtedly the Performante Spyder, a vehicle that will be presented in full in Geneva.

Let us remember that the Huracán is one of the few supercars that remains loyal to naturally aspirated engines, and in its most radical version it was not going to be any different. Specifically, under the bonnet of this fiercest bull we find a 5.2-litre V10 capable of producing 640 CV of power and 600 Nm of torque, figures we imagine will remain intact in the Spyder variant. However, brute force is not the only impressive thing about the Performante, as it features an advanced aerodynamic system called ALA.
Logically, this same aerodynamics will be present on the Huracán with a retractable roof, but with the drawback that the Italian engineers have had to carry out a meticulous study again to keep the Performante Spyder’s efficiency intact. At the same time, the coupé variant registers a kerb weight of 1,679 kg, a figure that will be slightly increased by the presence of the roof.

Be that as it may, this version of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante will remain impressive and its figures enviable for many of its rivals. However, the Sant’Agata supercar has encountered a tough rival along the way, the Ferrari 488 Pista, which is presented with the same radical and sporty concept.
