Brabus 900 Crawler: the most capable off-road beast from the German tuner has arrived
The tuner from the star brand has just unveiled its latest creation based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, turning it into an exclusive and radical off-road machine

After presenting the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP last January, the renowned German tuner made it quite clear that it also knows exactly how to do things when it comes to developing vehicles with major off-road capabilities, something reaffirmed by its latest creation, the Brabus 900 Crawler.
This beast full of personality is a version that, although based on the AMG G 63, has little in common with the standard model, as it is a buggy that is, in fact, not approved for use on public roads.
Starting with its styling, the Brabus 900 Crawler features a high-strength steel tubular frame painted red, onto which several panels have been fitted, such as the front of a G-Class and a small part of the rear, finished with carbon fibre wheel arches that make clear the kind of machine it is.

Taken to another level
The Crawler has a ground clearance of 53 centimetres, thanks to a modified height-adjustable suspension that allows up to 16 centimetres of spring travel, combined with 20-inch wheels with off-road tyres and 400 mm front and 370 mm rear brake discs.
With all this, this off-road beast manages to reduce its weight by 420 kilos compared to the production model, thanks to removing several body parts and fitting, among other things, seats made of a material called Silvertex in red with a carbon fibre structure.

Endless power and torque
Under the bonnet, Brabus has kept the same twin-turbo V8 engine from the G 63, although with several modifications that raise its displacement to 4.5 litres and its power to an incredible 900 CV and 1,250 Nm of maximum torque. Figures from another planet.
Thanks to this powertrain, the Brabus 900 Crawler can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, and its top speed has been limited to 160 km/h, more than enough for its purpose.
Production of this exclusive beast will be limited to just 15 units, so you can imagine its price is in line with its exclusivity, starting from no less than 891,310 euros before taxes, making it a very expensive little indulgence.
