Bugatti sells the last Chiron and closes the best year in its history
While the automotive industry is going through very critical times, Bugatti has just sold the last Chiron and closes the best year in its history, with 150 sales

This week, Bugatti announced that it has already sold the last unit of the Chiron that will be sold. This means that all units are allocated, including the last 40 units of the Bolide version presented a few months ago. The news allows the hypercar brand to close an excellent year, with the best results in its history.
These positive figures contrast with the general state of the automotive industry, which is going through a difficult time due to the crisis caused by COVID and the shortage of semiconductors. But we all know that the supercar market follows a different path, and Bugatti’s sales have been far higher than in other years.

The best results
The figures presented by Bugatti indicate that in 2021 they sold 150 units. What is curious is that of the customers who trusted one of the brand’s models, 63% are new customers who approached the brand for the first time. In contrast, the 40 Chiron Bolides sold in just 2 months after their presentation went to customers who already owned at least one vehicle from the brand.
Deliveries amounted to 80 vehicles, including models such as La Voiture Noire, the Divo that closes the series, and the first unit of the Chiron Super Sport 300+. For this year, 2020, they want to repeat these figures and, if possible, increase them as much as possible.
The Bugatti Chiron was presented in 2015 and there were only plans to build 500 units, with all the special editions that emerged from the original model. The Bolide is the latest of them and has been designed for racetracks. This version features a power output of 1,600 CV and 1,600 Nm of peak torque.
The future of Bugatti now lies in the hands of Rimac, but according to the CEO, Mate Rimac, the brand will continue to offer powerful combustion engines in the immediate future. So let’s wait a little and see what novelties and surprises they have in store for us.
