The SEAL U DM-i is presented as the first plug-in hybrid from BYD designed specifically for the European market. It is equipped with DM-i (Dual Mode Intelligence) technology, which combines a high-efficiency engine, a hybrid electric system and a Blade Battery, capable of charging with both alternating and direct current. This plug-in hybrid system prioritises electric propulsion, minimising reliance on the combustion engine to maximise efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
