The PSA Group and Bosch unveil the concept of a hybrid that uses compressed air
The PSA Group and Bosch have announced that they are working on a hydraulic-hybrid system, using two hydraulic motors that will regenerate energy from the engine and the brakes. The system replaces electric batteries, makes the vehicle lighter and considerably reduces emissions. The French believe they will have the first models ready by 2016 with this new technology, which will also equip some GM cars.
