Commercial vehicles can also: the Volkswagen Transporter by ABT

In Germany you can find different kits from various tuners that give cargo and passenger vehicles more power and a better look, as is the case with the Volkswagen Transporter. One of those tuners, ABT, brings the news that it has started a complete customisation programme for the popular Volkswagen vehicle.

While some people are not convinced about tuning a work vehicle, others will find ABT’s kit an excellent idea. For them, ABT offers a whole package that improves the exterior image of the Transporter with a new grille and a new front spoiler, as well as another rear deflector on the upper part of the vehicle. The Transporter now sports four exhaust outlets, which makes you wonder, since it looks a little… exaggerated?

The suspensions have been stiffened enough to allow a more or less stable cornering, with or without load, although we are talking about a vehicle that completely escapes the idea of performance. ABT has added some attractive 19-inch wheels to the set, a touch of sportiness at first glance.

And we come to the engine, which for now ABT will not touch. On this occasion customers will only have the option to personalise the Transporter, but in the future ABT will offer a certain power increase for the diesel engine, which is currently being worked on.
