CUPRA UrbanRebel, the showcar that proves it is real and just as spectacular as it looks
This concept model has been questioned by several people, so CUPRA wants to prove that it delivers what it promises, and has shown this video.

At the Munich Motor Show, the CUPRA UrbanRebel was unveiled. A comment that seems to have been very common at that presentation was that this concept model was a showcar, a car that only serves to show the technical capabilities hidden inside it. That it was not a real car that could face a road test and had been created only to shine on the stage.
But the high-performance brand of the Volkswagen Group wanted to demonstrate that this perception is not true, and has put it through a tough test to show that it is a car for real and that it is capable of hitting the track and facing any type of test it is subjected to. To prove it, it was taken to the test track with Dr. Werner Tietz at the wheel.

In the video you can see how the CUPRA UrbanRebel comes to life on the asphalt and shows that all the capabilities the manufacturer announces for this model are there and can be enjoyed. With this track test, the brand wants to demonstrate that everything said about the car is true and shows how the car moves when put to the test.

The two electric motors fitted to this model deliver a constant power of 250 kW, equivalent to 335 CV, but they also reach 320 kW (430 CV) at certain moments when higher power is needed. With this combination of the two motors, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The design of the CUPRA UrbanRebel is intended to offer minimal air resistance and thus optimise battery use. Aerodynamics that work in its favour and allow you to enjoy driving at any time. The model’s driving modes, which change and adjust chassis elements and steering, help with this. Enjoy the video and you will be able to see how this newly presented car delivers what it promises. Will it go into production? 2025 seems to be when it will reach the market, so we will have it here soon.
