Ford Bronco DR: The perfect off-road fun machine with a V8 under the bonnet
Limited to just 50 units, this version of the Bronco is crowned as the most radical ever created to date and the perfect plaything for off the asphalt

Since its launch, the Ford Bronco has been one of those special cars that has captured the hearts of motoring enthusiasts. A vehicle conceived as an off-roader of great capability and pure DNA, leaving aside all kinds of superfluous elements with one clear mission: to be the perfect off-road fun machine.
To make your mouth water even more, the American brand has just launched this new special edition, an extremely limited series of only 50 units developed for the Score Baja 1000 which will take place next 2022, which is why the name given to this machine is Ford Bronco DR (Desert Racer).

An ode to enjoyment
A clear sign that the new Bronco DR has been created purely to be a machine for enjoyment is that it cannot legally be driven on public roads, something that gives it a certain spicy appeal and lets us imagine what we have before our eyes.
As the cherry on top, Ford has fitted a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 Coyote engine identical to the one in the iconic Mustang, producing more than 400 CV ready to give its best.
Paired with its powerful heart, we find a new 10R80 transmission and a transfer case taken from the F-150, which are responsible for distributing power between the electronically locking front and rear differentials.

Prepared to the hilt
Obviously, these are not the only novelties, since it also features a Multimatic suspension system with selective DSSV dampers of 80 mm, liquid-cooled, and new control arms made of forged aluminium. All of this to increase the travel of the front suspension by 55.1% and by a further 56.8% for the rear. Elements which, together with 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tyres, allow the new Bronco DR to boast an approach angle of 47 degrees, a departure angle of 37 degrees and a breakover angle of 33 degrees.
As you can imagine, the price of the new Bronco DR will be in line with its exclusivity and performance, since although the final price has not yet been confirmed, it will be approximately 200,000 euros.
