Dacia Manifesto: a highly radical concept car designed to improve the future production models of Dacia
The latest creation from the Romanian brand is called Manifesto, a highly advanced and sustainable concept buggy built as an idea laboratory

With the Paris Motor Show, set to take place on 18 October, drawing near, many brands have decided to unveil new models, novelties and even major plans for the coming years. This is the case of Dacia, which has just introduced its Dacia Manifesto for the first time, a concept car that reaffirms the brand’s vision of what an essential, fresh, robust and environmentally respectful vehicle should be.
The reason for creating this electric buggy with such a radical look was to turn it into an “idea laboratory”, designed to apply many of its features to the brand’s future production cars, since, as the brand itself has stated, it is not a future model but a declaration of the brand’s aim to support customers who increasingly enjoy outdoor activities.
Only the essentials
To complete the experience, the Dacia Manifesto has been stripped of doors, windows and windscreen, in order to achieve a stronger connection between the occupants and nature, with a single light that can be removed and used as a powerful torch, and a very rugged appearance.

As a buggy, it goes without saying that it boasts incredible off-road capabilities, thanks to its four-wheel-drive system, its ground clearance, its large wheels and its body designed to withstand the most demanding terrain.
Practical and ingenious ideas
Another of its most ingenious features is the upholstery of its seats, which in just a few seconds can be converted into sleeping bags in which to spend the night very comfortably and easily.

Thanks to its low weight, achieved by using a recycled material called Starkle for the exterior and cork for the steering wheel and dashboard, the Dacia Manifesto has a minimal environmental footprint, being in addition a compact and lightweight vehicle.
Finally, another of its most peculiar and innovative features is its new airless tyres, which are puncture-proof, offer great grip and long life.
