Dokker, the commercial and family vehicle from Dacia

In today’s times, brands that offer affordable vehicles to their customers are always welcome. The latest to hit the market is the new Dokker, a mixed-use van geared towards commercial use, for work. Already presented, it is available at Spanish dealerships from a starting price of €9,535.

The Renault Group describes this car as a versatile and, above all, practical vehicle. With a large boot, it is suitable for transporting any object, as well as for travelling with the whole family, since the rear seats can be folded down. On the Dacia Spain website, they describe it as “a utility vehicle that meets everything a professional customer could expect from a van”

It comes with fairly interesting equipment and multimedia features, such as Media NAV, a navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen, a CD radio compatible with MP3 and USB. It also includes Bluetooth with steering-wheel controls. In addition, it features a speed limiter and rear parking sensors.

There is a choice of several engines. In diesel, there are two versions based on the 1.5 dCi engine block: the 75 and 90, which have consumption figures of 4.5 litres per hundred kilometres. In petrol, only the 1.6 MPI with 85 CV is available.

There are two trim levels: first, the “Base”, which includes ABS, emergency brake assist, bumpers and black-coloured details, as well as a puncture repair kit, wiper blades… The “Ambiance” adds more features, such as an on-board computer. Additionally, extras can be chosen, such as fog lights, ESP, a spare wheel…

Dokker Van, commercial van

On the other hand, there is the Dokker Van, a van designed exclusively for commercial use. It shares engines and equipment with the standard Dokker.
