Driving Experience courses arrive for Audi

Audi Driving Experience launches its tarmac courses, in which participants will master the key driving techniques on this surface. They will be led by Jordi Gené, an experienced circuit driver who also has extensive experience as an instructor. Currently, three types of courses are offered, each one tailored to different driving levels: Dynamic, Progressive and Sportscar.
The introductory course is called Dynamic, in which the active safety elements are explained, along with the importance of various aspects and technological developments, such as the quattro traction system, anti-lock braking systems and stability control. This course offers an in-depth understanding of a car’s active safety through sudden braking, controlled slides, driving on slippery surfaces and various obstacle slaloms. Designed for drivers who want to learn to master their vehicle in all kinds of unexpected situations. The price is 150 euros for non-Audi customers and 130 euros for customers. This course takes place in Santiago de Compostela, Bilbao and Palma de Mallorca.
The Progressive course teaches how to tackle all kinds of bends effectively, to master circuit driving technique. This experience includes exercises that allow participants to get to know and practise the weight transfer and counter-steering technique more thoroughly. During the course, participants learn to analyse racing lines and perform flying laps on speed circuits. The price of this course is 240 euros (200 euros for brand customers), and it is held in Jerez, Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid.
The final tarmac experience is the course called Sportscar. It is an exclusive course that lets you test the brand’s sportiest models, the RS 3 Sportback, RS6 and R8, and experience unprecedented sensations behind the wheel. Before heading to the track, the vehicles’ main technical features are examined. After analysing the track section by section, flying laps follow, aiming to perfect the racing line and maximum top speed. This course will be held in Barcelona, and costs 690 euros, or 545 euros for Audi customers.
